Happy 4th of July America!Now that the 4th of July is upon us, I thought it might be appropriate to pause to think about what our country is all about. I also thought it might be fun to introduce a little levity into the blog.

A special tribute to America.
To celebrate the 4th, our engineering department put together a special animated 4th of July card. We try to take time out to do something special on holidays we like to celebrate (i.e., Holiday Season at year end, Valentine’s day, 4th of July, and the Marine Corps Birthday). This year, I think they did a wonderful job in putting together an animated card to celebrate the 4th. Hopefully, you will agree.

For levity, we can always look to beer commercials. And there’s no question about it, the King of Beers is now, and has always been, the King of Commercials. I’ve selected four of their most recent commercials for your enjoyment. I selected these because I thought they were especially funny. Here they are, in all their glory. Enjoy.

I also selected a commercial from a little known micro-brewery in Pennsylvania. It was like pulling teeth to find a place where I could link to this commercial. But here it is. I know that this commercial will offend some readers and, of course, I’ll catch a lot of grief because of it – but I guess that’s life, and as anyone who regularly visits this Blog knows, I’m pretty used to taking a beating. I selected it because I think it’s hilarious.
